Pontevedra, Spain
Aug 29th, 2007Morgan Carlson got me an event in Spain and it was super fun. I flew into Madrid, and Morgan and Rino Holm picked me up in a small rental van. We then pretty much rode on each other's laps for 5 hours to Pontevedra. The event was in a small bull arena, but they built a nice landing and run-out for us to make it safe. We had a loud crowd and everyone rode real good. It wasn't really a contest, but I was made the winner and got a cool trophy. We then packed up the minivan and drove 9 hours to Morgan and Rino's house near Alacante. They lived right off the beach in a resort town and the beaches were packed. I stayed for a few days and went to ride at Nicolas Ortuno's riding spot that had the biggest crane for a foam pit I had ever seen. I had a great time in Spain and can't wait to go back.
