Linkoping, Sweden

After Dubai, I was flying to my friends house in Stockholm for the week before my next event in Linkoping. When I was in the airport in Dubai, I called my wife and told her I needed to come home for the week. I was home sick and I really wanted to be with her on her birthday which was 2 days away. It turned out I was able to get a flight home with my Continental One Pass miles. I flew into Stockholm, had dinner with my friend, slept for a few hours and then was back at the airport. I got home on monday and it felt good. I was suppose to fly back to Stockholm on Thursday, but when I got to the airport my flight had been cancelled. I had a layover in Newark, NJ and they were having an ice storm so I was home for another night. This now had me arriving in Sweden the morning of the event. I flew in and arrived at 8am. I then had to rent a car and drive 2 1/2 hours to Linkoping. After getting to the event I had to put my bike together and was the last one out for practice and got about 10 minutes. I then had an hour nap before we had to get ready for the show. I was so thankful when the show was over because I have never felt so bad on my bike. I rode horribly, but I made it through safely. We then signed autographs for about an hour before I had to take my suspenion off the bike and load up. I went to the hotel, showered, and got back on the road for Stockholm. Round trip I flew for 33 hours and drove 5 hours to be in Sweden for only 23 hours.
