Jan 25th, 2010I got a last minute call to head to Guadalajara for a show the weekend after Prague. I hadn't ridden FMX in almost 5 months, but I figured I would remember how. Practice went better than I thought. I was a little rusty, but was excited for the show. Come show time, I was the first rider up. The light on the ramp went out, but I thought I could see fine and was ready to get the show going. Bad move. The lighted runway into the dark ramp through off my depth perception, and I was on the ramp before I was ready. I cased the landing really bad slamming my chest into the bars and bouncing off the bike. After I caught my breath I was able to walk off extremely sore, but nothing broken.
